ZUB’s review published on Letterboxd:
Paul Atreides is a DOG. He kills goth Elvis Presley and immediately proposes to a woman he’s just met while Stilgar cheers him on like the fan he is. Initially I thought Timothee Chalamet couldn’t be a convincing leader but he proved me wrong during his speech to the sand people in the holy sand basement.
Austin Butler does a PHENOMENAL job as Feyd-Rautha, I was hoping his character would live on to Dune part 3, was hard seeing my bald headed friend die.
I’m currently banned from Cineplex for a year so I didn’t get to watch this in Imax which most likely impacted my experience. That being said I still thoroughly enjoyed the images being displayed on screen (super nifty stuff).
