ngl i didnt quite enjoy it and miss the old rom-coms

although the ion between them did not satisfy me as much as the 2005 version, i believe this is how the real pride and prejudice look like with the 98,93729% accuracy. unfortunately i cant decide which is my mr. darcy. while reading the book, i always pictured him as Matthew cause it felt good but now that i think about it Colin feels so right. yet still i cannot decide but when i do i will for sure add it here.

This is not just a silly random coming-of-age movie, it also draws attention to the flaws in social systems. I also liked the way it ends after the ending texts and god knows he is charming affff. (yet somehow from some pov he is the villain)

"maybe we expect too much."

yes. and i think that this movie kinda tried to prove it to us. most of us probably assumed or tried to predict things and wondered if she really is guilty throughout the movie. infact i always tought that there was going to be plot twist about how she actually mentally unstable and commit a murder. but sometimes things are just.. simple. like the way it seems.

 Matthew McConaughey really deserved that Oscar. (Infact his was the best Oscar speech ive ever heard.) He played his role so well that at some point i forgot that it was him and see him as he was Ron Woodroof irl. Same thing almost happened with Jared Leto. Although i got a giant jumpscare when he showed up, he actually got to touch my feelings in this film. They sure all did great jobs.

it satisfyed me every time jurer 3 contradicted himself constantly but i also knew from the beginning that he was going to end up voting not guilty ed by his feelings about his son.

nasıl daha önce izlememişim. alfredo'ya her geçen dakika sempatimin artmasıyla öldüğünü bilmem eş zamanlı olunca filmin yarısını ağlayarak geçirdim. ikisi arasındaki bağ o kadar güçlüydü ki tanıklık ettiğimi unutmam mümkün olmayacak. alfredo toto'nun kaybettiği babası, toto ise alfredo'nun hiç sahip olamadığı çocuğu gibiydi ve ortak tutkuları sinema bu akrabalığı daha da güçlendirdi ve ona bir özlük kazandırdı. izlediğim en içli filmlerin başında gelir
 

ill never understand how did they recover from this. i mean when you think about it they re-experienced their first sex, first break up, first fight, soo many kisses and at the end he got rejected and she rejected him all over again. infact they were together for around like 15 years and they showed us a small part of it but while shooting they must have got many flashbacks of this 15 years which could cause a pair of emotional breakdowns so this film must've been really hard to shoot because i could never.

the cast is amazing

im a big and carrie girl for life i saw that clear when i find myself crying in hopeless romantic in that last scene. it just made me so emotional to see them happy together after all they've been through in the last decade.

and after all this wtf was that racism oh my god why did they do that to us. i want to see my girls in a way i used to see them when they were in US non-racist.
