This was the first Malick movie I ever saw, as a high schooler, in the theater, with no context for what to expect. It took me completely off guard, in a way that made me uncomfortable and dismissive at the time. But it stuck with me, and almost certainly completely changed how I thought about movies from that point on.

Leaving this as a reminder to myself of how deeply physically and emotionally uncomfortable I feel after watching anything Charlie Kauffman makes. Right down to the feeling of having watched a Robert Zemeckis movie.

Good movie for dorky hipsters to watch while expecting a baby.
