I watched this over a two-day period, about half each day.
First day: Raunchy comedy that is refreshingly actually funny; that's a rarity nowadays. Still, only worth four stars.
Second day: How did I become so emotionally invested in these characters?

Good movie, but it kind of bugs me that Barnes is rewarded for failing to deliver the blue letter.

Reasons to watch this film:

-Gorgeous animation, both stop-motion and 2D.
-Plot that's faithful to Gospels while expanding with details that make sense given the historical/cultural context.
-Ethnically accurate character models
-A more meaningful, spiritual, artful Christian movie than those produced by today's sanctimonious, Evangelical companies.

Recommended for Christians, animation fans, and movie lovers.
