Much… and I cannot reiterate this enough… MUCH better than Part One.

Honestly, when I see a movie with a tremendous amount of hype, I get suspicious, like I did with Across the Spiderverse (which I still haven’t seen due to the mediocrity of the first movie imho). When I see that about a movie, I honestly start instantly believing that a movie can’t be that good. Well, I’ll be the first to tell you that for Dune: Part Two, I was disastrously wrong. It definitely lived up to the hype and then some…

While it isn’t the best movie I’ve ever seen, due to my emotional attachment with many other films that I believe are subjectively better, man this movie absolutely rocks in what it tries to do in creating an amazing sequel that beats the first in every single definitive way.

The action was there, the story was easier to follow (idc what you say I didn’t read the book so it’s harder for me to understand what’s going on), and the performances were absolutely spectacular.
