]]>Out of the two crime-thrillers we've gotten this year that revolves around a lesbian couple who just wanted to take a relaxing road trip and it ended up in the middle of a murder investigation, this is the superior movie. It's a grimy, gritty, and very funny movie. Katy O Brian was the standout and Kristen Stewart was amazing has always and this movie gave her opportunity to show her more comedic side. Ed Harris was chewing up the scenery as the villain.

This is the best movie where the plot revolves around Matt Damon's penis that I've seen.

]]>I drove a hour out of state to see this in the largest IMAX in my region and it was worth every minute. This film is the definition of an epic.

]]>All of the fan theories surrounding this turned out to be a more interesting then anything this movie contrived. The marketing tried to be as secretive as possible, By only releasing only one single trailer, that drove most cinephiles up a wall, that included scenes mainly from the first act. While its nice to have a film that isn't spoiled to oblivion. all that effort by Vaughn and the studio went to waste. Since this just another run-of-the-mill spy-thriller, with a twist that will have your eyes rolling. While Vaughn has proved himself an amazing action director, he dropped the ball with this one with no memorable action sequences and some really rough CG and visuals.

]]>Masterfully crafted and directed by Jonathan Glazer. One of the most unique and haunting films I've seen a while.

]]>I'm going to be very vague and quick with my review, since this is one of the movies that really benefit from knowing as little as possible. It's one of the most memorizing and devastating films I've seen in a while. A gut wrenching tale about loneliness, grief, and the importance of moving on.

]]>This is one of the better faith based films to come out in a while...which really isn't saying much. Director Jeymes Samuel delivers another stylistic and visually stunning movie. LaKeith Stanfield was fantastic as always with a very charismatic and emotional performance. The film delivers on some insightful points about religion and if faith in a higher-power makes you a better person. Unfortunately, the film is a tonal mess. As it always switching between drama, satire, and historical epic and it doesn't balance them as well. Overall, if you're religious or can tolerate faith-based films, it's worth checking out. Especially with a crowd.

]]>Another perfect dad type of movie. If you've seen any of these "middle age man who turned out to be a world-class assassin, forced to come out of retirement" films we've been bombarded with in the last decade, the film doesn't offer anything new and does fall into most of the tropes you would expect. But with a Jason Statham lead film with a title like Beekeeper, I wasn't expecting anything ground-breaking and it delivers with some over-the-top and gory fun. The action sequences are well choregraphed with no copious amounts of shaky-cam or quick cuts. When it comes to issues, it does suffer from some clunky dialogue and FBI subplot could've been trimmed down. Over-all, its a fun time at the movies with an audience.

]]>If you're looking for a visually stunning 2D/3D animated hybrid where a hero goes on a thrilling adventure to have their wishes granted, great side characters, and villains that remind you of the old days of Disney, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is on Netflix. When it comes to Disney's Wish... it's an option.
