With some more complex characters, good directing, and a decent plot, this would really be something. It SUCKS, but it's just so fucking nice to look at. Definitely hit harder for me at 19.

Finally watching this was one of my New Year Resolutions.

This is the best future world ever. Never have I been more convinced that the world of a film is living and breathing. Every shot is so detailed it makes me sick. I have to watch it again immediately. The visual effects, not even just for 1982 but also NOW, are completely mind blowing. Anybody that told me "it's boring" is dumb as shit and piss.

I will say though: It did make me pretty angry that Rachael kissed Deckard and not me.

If I had to live in one movie for an eternity, I pick this one. Truly the greatest atmosphere and concept. Not even going to deduct a star for the semi-goofy conclusion. It’s too pretty.

Usually I equate this to the original, being at least close to as good. Watching it again, It's fucking not. It's crazy how much worse this is than Alien. Story, character, production, editing, impact of important moments. Music isn't good either.

It's not even fucking close and you're insane if you think it is.
