Coppola basically said "the real monster is inside us" & then made this masterpiece to prove it. Not even a film atp, it's an experience for me.
War is just the context, but what it's really showing is how we fall apart when there are no rules, no structure, no sense of right or wrong left. Wild how in just three hours you can feel how war breaks people's minds.
I needed something philosophical & symbolic, this hit every nerve. Honestly feels like one of those films everyone should watch at least once.
