Bella Baxter is my hero. might be one of my fav films ever. swept away by the cinematography, the score was v original and haunting, and it was a pretty profound commentary on womanhood. half a star off only bc I hated mark ruffalo’s character so much
so refreshing to see a realistic romance plot. no dramatic affair, no sweeping off feet, no dramatic betrayal… just silences, glances, yearning but not acting upon.. beautifully real. wept.
