Tyler Whitmore’s review published on Letterboxd:
Movie so tense it had me questioning if I was guilty for crimes I never even committed.
Clint Eastwood at 94 years old still has the ability to throw an absolute heater down the middle of the plate. A masterclass of tension and guilt. A fascinating look into power and the lengths people go to acquire and protect it. A modern day trolley problem.
With a cast of Nicholas Hoult, Zoey Deutch, Toni Collette, and JK Simmons this movie was never going to fail unless Warner Bros. did something crazy like refuse to release it in most theaters and bury all the promotion for it.
Chris Messina shows up and I let out an audible “hell yeah.”
