An outstanding surprise and the true discovery of TIFF this year. There's a touch of unleashed Raimi energy to this but otherwise this is like nothing I've ever seen before.

An acute reminder that we haven't had nearly enough Sigourney Weaver movies in the last 20 years and certainly not enough lead performances. I really wish this was a better movie because she's always so damn good.

A little too long and shaggy to land the knock-out punch but there's some stunning sequences here.

I clearly saw a different movie than the rabid TIFF Midnight crowd. Such a disappointing comedown following the lean perfection of Host.

Tough sit. Too many over-scored close-ups of Ruth Wilson and not nearly enough Tom Burke.

A captivating debut and also a full-on horror movie.
