I honestly don’t know where to start, it’s not a bad film nor is it entirely a good one as well. I had just got done watching the first predator film last night and didn’t really have much bad to say about it, but this one falls short compared to the first film unfortunately. I wasn’t to big a fan of the major stereotypes that played a roll into the film, wether you take that as being to serious or overcritical of it, it’s just my opinion and the casting was just not that great combined with some of them being there just to be an element of the film but actually having no significant meaning other than being killed off or the woman just being a woman so she gets to live. No that’s not me just desperately wanting to see predator kill a woman, it’s me wanting to see predator hold everyone to the same level of no mercy he has on the rest (excluding the child he didn’t end up killing for whatever reason). I could go on about the bad but that just isn’t fun and anyone who still has yet to watch the film should have a chance to judge and experience for themselves for the first time instead of going in with expectations already set from someone elses thoughts. All of that said, the film does contain some very aesthetically pleasing shots ranging from the city, to the underground’s, and most importantly the predator itself. I do recommend the watch if you’re planning to finally get into the predator films and if you are thinking of having your kids watch it with you just be cautious of the nudity! enjoy

It’s 6:45am and I just got done watching Predator for the first time, yeah i’m a bit late to the party but it’s never too late to catch up. Taking into consideration that it is a movie made in 1987 it wouldn’t be fair to critique it based on today’s standards or the 2000s standards for that matter. The only negatives i’ve personally taken away from the movie is the digital effects looking just a BIT much cartoonish, the inconsistencies with the predators scanning eye sight just not picking obvious movement for the sake of the plot, and the helicopter blindly lowering itself into a blind area just expecting it to be a safe zone for landing though they had just witnessed from a distance  the huge explosion go off to cause said smoke lmaooo and yes i completely understand that they probably just ignored logic/common sense for the sake of a cool shot. With that said, the movie really is an iconic film for its time and you’ll come across shots and catch phrases you’ve heard or come across online that’ll give you a good laugh for sure. If you were looking for a reason to finally get around to the predator films than here you’ve found it and you won’t regret it, i promise.

I mean where do i really start and end. i’ll keep it short and sweet, the acting from both Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson was just absolute art to watch, from the way they interact with each other, to the voices they had to put on, and just the way they absolutely sell the roles. everything was told to perfection wether you understood the plot or not. Yes it makes you question a ton through out the movie, yes it’ll leave you confused time and time again, and yes some scenes make you absolutely laugh out loud and that’s why it’s such a good watch. I definitely recommend if you enjoy watching something different or simply love Willem or Robert themselves

I finally got to this movie over the weekend since i was curious to why its gotten a theatrical release and won a Oscar + Golden globe reward and to be honest, i still don’t exactly know why. The animation is real beautiful, story is immersive, and you kind of just have to go with the flow, literally. Perhaps that’s why the movie got the recognition it did, as the audience we just had to let go of control and go with the flow as did the cat, capybara, dogs, etc and accept whatever’s thrown at you and hope everything will turn out okay. That being said I enjoyed the movie and will probably come back for another rewatch in the future, i recommend checking it out for sure
