I liked this a lot. It’s definitely the funniest Wes Anderson. I absolutely love this cast and how it’s utilized. I will say it wasn't the most entertaining of Wes’s films, despite me liking a lot narratively and thematically it did begin to drag a bit for me which I didn’t expect. I had a good time on first watch I’ll be interested to see how it holds up on rewatch.
]]>Dam this is a big step down for the franchise. It really feels like nothing happened this whole movie.
]]>Some great acting that’s for sure
]]>I’m gonna have to watch this again but I definitely liked it
]]>There were some scenes in this that had me in absolute terror.
]]>Not what I expected this movie to be like but it was good. I wasn’t blown away at all though.
]]>For my 1000th feature length film I ended up watching the first ever feature length film made in Africa. I really enjoyed this. Very thought provoking and had a style that was very cool as it felt like some of the European films from this time that I have seen but it is immersed in African culture. Despite being one of the first movies to touch on the immigrant experience it feels like it is definitely amongst the best it’s ever been done.
]]>Yeah ts still fucks me up.
]]>These movies are fucking awesome. I need to rewatch the first 1 because it is gonna sky rocket up my list. It’s just done perfect for what it is. I eat ts up every time I watch it.
]]>I’m so happy this was as fun as I hoped it would be.

]]>Saw this for the first time today in an empty theater. Yes it was awesome.
]]>Post WW2 does not look too fun
]]>Bro this was so good
]]>This movie is dripping in sauce
]]>Definitely deserving of any and all praise it receives. I had an amazing time watching this and unlike many look forward to watching more times.
]]>I wanted to like this more
]]>I’m in awe of this
]]>Pretty bland story. The acting was great tho.
]]>Seeing this in theaters is on of the peaks of my life. This is the best zombie movie ever.
]]>I didn’t care for this. It felt pretty creepy and the themes were done very blandly. Why in maybe the best year in cinema history did this win best picture. Oscars do better.
]]>I enjoyed the 80s comedy vibes and the hilarious guest appearances but the music really didn’t do it for me. Besides the little theme which obviously bangs.
]]>Honestly I see why people would give this 1 star. I watched it once like 7 years ago and thought it was incredible boring and pointless. However this time I found the horror elements to be extremely effective. I won’t lie those last 15 minutes had me absolutely locked in and like paranoid of my surroundings in real life scared. That is just so impressive to me and overall I just didn’t find it to be pointless or slow.
]]>Definitely the best kills and the most entertaining entry so far but it also felt the most formulaic which is what I think holds it back for me.
]]>Fuck you. I’m cool. Your not. This is elite cinema.
]]>Yeah this is as perfect as everyone says it is
]]>I liked this alot more till the end
]]>Yeah pretty dam bad
]]>Loved the acting but not a big fan of the story. Those last 30 minutes were extra bad.
]]>I’m surprised this only has a 3.0 on here, I really liked it.
]]>A solid bit better than the first one for me but still nothing special

]]>The perfect Rom-Com
]]>The most LinkLater LinkLater movie
]]>It took me less than a month after watching Late Spring to see another one of his films and it didn’t disappoint. My favorite part of this aside from the elite vibes are the themes it touches on.

]]>I’m so happy I finally found a Chaplin I not only liked but loved. This blends all the things I liked in the 3 films of his I’ve seen into one movie. It has the hilarious physical comedy of The Circus, the wholesome moments of The Kid, and the complete and concise narrative of The Gold Rush. With probably my favorite score and cinematography of any of his movies this made for the first of his movies that didn’t feel incomplete to me.
]]>Nah the piano man bus scene is the best scene ever
]]>Watched on Friday May 9, 2025.
]]>I loved it. I’m a big fan of slow cinema.
]]>Definitely didn’t like this as much as I hoped
]]>So pretty much an animated platonic Portrait of a Lady on fire
]]>Dam this was a big miss for me. I liked the set design a lot and a few of the action sequences but this was bad.
]]>Deserved classic
]]>Watched on Tuesday May 6, 2025.
]]>I see why this is viewed the way it is. There were some really poorly written moments but it also had some awesome moments with some John Woo sauce. So I don’t love it by any means but I didn’t hate it or anything.

]]>Awesome aesthetically but lacks in narrative and thematic depth for me.

]]>Ranking every movie you watch isn’t easy but I really just go off of how much I like each movie. So the ratings change often and lots of movies that are close to each other are pretty much interchangeable. It’s really my favorite thing about watching movies is seeing this list expand.
