Until Dawn, the game not the movie is an interesting case study on interactive media. 
 
My experience with it is a play through with my two best friends as we attempted to get everyone killed. Only 2 survived.

But as a film, it feels like a holdover of how these things were adapted in the 2000s where it was just to buy the name. 

Looking at it as its own piece of media, it was fine. Always fun watching…
