Kicking off the year with a light-hearted coming-of-age gay film. Nothing groundbreaking, but it's always nice to be reminded of how innocent young love can be. May this year be filled with love, enlightenment, and wonder! Happy New Year, Letterboxd!

Rewatching my favorite horror movie of 2024 to cap off the year. Looking back, this year has been about respecting the balance for me. It’s perfectly fine to have good days and bad days—it’s all about acknowledging that it’s part of this thing we call life. Hoping for more good days than bad in 2025, though!

Barely a horror. Almost a drama. Kind of a comedy? To quote the great philosopher, Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O'Connor, “What was that?”

“I’ve been with that girl for two months. I know her better than anyone.”

This line was WILD. Overall, I’d say this is the most period-accurate Fear Street entry. In saying that, this was also the most generic and lacks any perspective beyond being an 80s high school slasher. Appreciate the 90-minute runtime though!

I would’ve felt more sympathy for the family if they weren’t all so freaking stupid. Especially the dad. Fuck the dad!
