R2 and C-3PO drive each other crazy, and it’s really my favorite thing. their dynamic is just too good.

ahhh i love this so much but it’s always so hard to watch. i can’t help but cry a little especially after watching andor and honestly, i’m wrecked. it really shifted my perspective of rogue one in a way that wasn’t there before. understanding the tragedy runs so much deeper, not just in the outcome but in everything it took to get there. it’s people pushed to the edge, trying to survive and still do something that matters. rogue one feels so much heavier now. the sacrifice hits harder. the ending definitely hurts more. it’s a lot to sit with.

twice in one day, in 4DX and it still wrecked me. an unforgettable experience. i don’t think anything else will compare for a while.

not gonna lie, i loved this. i was literally rooting for keke so hard and when that job opportunity slipped through her fingers i was screaming!

sza and keke’s chemistry is unreal. their personalities just bounce off each other so naturally it makes every scene feel effortless. i had so many laughs watching this and honestly i’m still cracking up thinking about a few moments.

it’s one of those movies where you’re seriously stressed with them and just along for the ride. also i loved the closing credits of what happened to everyone. it really gave the story such a satisfying full circle moment in the end.

good cast, but the writing definitely holds the film back

i can see why people love it, but it just wasn’t my thing. i’m not the biggest fan of musicals, so maybe that’s part of it. it was just less immersive than i imagined it would be. i wanted to feel more emotionally connected to the characters, the story, and through the visuals. it’s fun, i guess, just not my cup of tea. i’m happy others are enjoying it.

going in blind, i didn’t expect to be left thinking about this movie so much. but the way reggie always reassures little mark about having hope in the worst situations was so powerful. she always stuck with him. i love the bond they created between them, it just added so much heart to the story.

and in the end, the truth was…they had bread. someone was definitely lying.

had a mini tornado and severe thunderstorm happening while watching this. it really added to the horror element of the film. sound effects and everything. especially the unsettling feeling like something bad was about to happen lol.

storm drama aside, i think the cast was great. they didn’t just play their roles. they became them. on top of that, the cinematography alone is incredible. the visuals, the lighting, the editing, the way shadows creep into every scene. it’s all so good. every detail, from the costume design to the makeup to the smallest set pieces, just feeds into the film’s moody gothic aesthetic. it’s wild to me that it didn’t win more awards because it definitely deserved them.

you can clearly see how critical it is to really push ourselves to rethink the truths of what the system, power, privilege, equality, and comion should really look like in a world that keeps moving backward.

bridget jones is the definition of zany.

i was actually laughing nonstop through this (shoutout to my sister for this find). it made me really miss 2000s rom-coms. but the will smith and kevin james duo was crazy comedy gold and extremely entertaining with such a good mix of awkward fun, charm, and so much chaos. who knew?

the idea itself? definitely terrifying. but also, survival instincts were truly at an all-time low here.

honestly, bridget was kind of a mess, but that’s what makes her so easy to relate to. it wasn’t really about her choices, it was more about how the movie nailed that feeling of trying to get your life together, only for everything to go totally sideways. found a new comfort movie <3

oh. my. 

the soundtrack. the 70’s era. the aesthetic. the cast. the vibes. it literally could not be any better than this.

i didn’t really enjoy it. there was so much confusion and just questioning the whole time rather than feeling the mysterious suspense that should come from a thriller horror film. i felt like the story was lost. it didn’t work for me. i just don’t think it was cohesive enough throughout the film to be able to have the big reveal in the end, idk. overall, i feel like it was trying way too hard to be something new but for me it ended up being kind of a drag.

somewhere between comedic, exaggerated, and very much cringe

this is my 113487th rewatch and i have to say seeing this on the big screen, speakers booming, with some popcorn and a blue raspberry icee will always be my favorite way :)

ghost is just THAT good

i was kind of annoyed the whole time with the storyline, nothing added up in the end.

This was exactly the kind of movie I didn’t know I ever needed. It was pure chaos, messy, hilarious, and somehow still heartfelt. Lorne really held everything together while literally everyone else lost their minds. WOW.

there’s really no words for the emotional rollercoaster this film took me on, scene after scene.

wow, the dancing is just aggressively better and so crazy impressive!! shoutout to the choreographers!

I love a movie set in a bookstore, but I’m not sure about this one. It didn’t quite hit the mark for me. That said, I loved this quote they mentioned because it just perfectly defines how special books really are.

Is it insane, weird, or insanely weird? Yes.

it’s such a 2000s horror movie with the desaturated tint that completely takes me back to my childhood, haha. even now, it’s just as eerie to me. the eyelid thing, the writing on the body, and especially the ectoplasm vomit still creep me out!

i watched this for trina vega, and daniella monet definitely brought that same iconic attitude here!

i really enjoyed the friendship dynamic in this movie, and it feels like daniella thrives in roles with this kind of duo energy. it was pretty cringy (most of the time), but honestly, it fit with the vibe.

i love that kevin makes friends and enemies everywhere he goes 🫶🏼
