Try not to blow up the world

Pure man-made horror in every respect. Three fast, gracious hours of impeding doom, concatenations of personalities and existential dread.
The screen seems ready to explode as the film is following the style of a doomsday clock, where midnight is given by the Trinity Test sequence. Celebrations with American flags, solemn speeches but it's all about failure: social, political, sentimental, parental and self-failure. Nolan faces the biopic genre and comes out an absolute winner.

His quintessential. The last 10 minutes (before the arrival of the police) are one of the best depictions of living hell in Earth. The more the film goes on, the less you understand what is really happening. Amazing acting (most of the scenes are improvised), amazing experience.
