A series of screenings that probe the philosophical questions raised by some of cinema’s most intriguing films. Each title will be introduced by a lecturer from the University of Sheffield followed by a post-film discussion of the themes the title(s) confront.

A programme built around the national theme of “Behind the Lens” celebrating contributions to cinema by those of LGBTQ+ identities in off-screen roles.
A “special” one-off screening, on the 28th of January that also kick-starts the LGBTQ+ History Month programme. Screening will be introduced with a special love performance of spoken word from poet; Jasmine Gardosi.
