oh, to be at your summer job right out of high school or college. this depicts that very specific nostalgia so perfectly. out in the world - knowing nothing and finding bits of yourself along the way. absolutely love the way this movie feels!

am i missing something or… is there a lot of failure from parents here to protect their children????

i knew nothing going in to this and was very pleasantly surprised by it. such a sweet and peaceful little film, very slice of life in nature. the benjis of the world are truly sacred — to allow yourself to feel fully is a beautiful, necessary and inspiring thing. though of course, it’s far from easy. humans being humans, forever special to witness.
