i was debating on rewatching this since i didn't really like it the first time. but i decided to give it another try since i've been doing a tcm marathon.
surprisingly, i kinda liked this. it's not rare for me to not like a movie the first time i watch it then become a fan of it after rewatching, but i didn't expect it with this film.

nothing about this feels like a tcm movie. this felt very unserious at times (a lot actually) and was just a pain to get through. some performances were questionable as well.
i hated leatherface's look in the beginning and just his overall character. his look towards the end i actually thought was cool, but i just wish they put more effort into the look as it looked kinda half-assed.
