CAMP.
the perfect 80s horror movie. full of stupid decisions and unnecessary scenes (and tons of gore). love this one just as much as the first tcm.
stretch is phenomenal as a final girl imo, she's definitely one of my favs. and this movie even brought us chop top! an iconic horror character.
i will say tho i'm not sure if i like this look on bubba. i'll have to watch the rest of the franchise to really determine which…

i first watched this a little over 2 years ago and thought it was just ok. however, i think my mind has changed.
i love how raw this was and just the overall eeriness of this. leatherface's original look is really neat too. and that ending of sally in the back of the truck, CINEMA !
also i have a strange feeling franklin was eating that one dude's genitals that guy on the radio was talking about...
hopefully i can get a marathon going. very excited to rewatch the 2nd one :)
