I am small, it's the pictures that got big!

Domesticity - not a sharp pain that is fleeting, but a slow death that rots from the inside. One may try to inject some sense of fun, whether the joy of self-made music, a impromptu dance session, or even the simple pleasure of food and drink, but all that is fleeting as it quickly gives way to the realisation that one will be stuck like this forever - until it ends - one way or another
In some ways this obviously part 1 of a larger story, but if there was no part 2 coming up, I would be no less satisfied, because at it's core Horizon (Part 1) feels like a series of (sometimes interlinked) vignettes about life on the west and the people that call it home
And like the best westerns of yesteryear it perfectly captures all the colours hues of the wild frontier - the brilliant oranges of the sun bouncing off…
Possibly my favourite version of the count. The way we never see him fully at night, the way his form and cloak blend with the darkness. He is not of the shadow, he is the shadow. He is not of fear, he is Fear, preying on the innocent preventing them from living outside the shadow. Dawn breaks proud and bright when he ends, but he brings the innocent down with him
