The Extra Credits’s review published on Letterboxd:
Today we have a FIVE hour exploration of Denis Villeneuve's radical epic 'Dune: Part Two’. This subversive follow up to 'Part One' continues its indictment of fundamentalist empires through a grand scale chess game of intergalactic power. Villeneuve's tonally ambiguous adaptation of Frank Herbert's iconic novel is successful at provoking audiences on their connections to Paul and the Imperium, but possibly at the cost of perpetuating stereotypes and orientalism. A lot to discuss!
