I loved Marriage Story so I was hyped for Noah Baumbach's next movie but this disappointed me a bit i'm not gonna lie. Maybe it just flew over my head but I couldn't make sense of what it was trying to say. I quite enjoyed the first half but when the toxic chemical evacuation portion abruptly ended I was so confused and I thought we were just seeing a dream sequence for a while. The drugs plot in the latter half really comes into the forefront and I don't know why. Well made but a bit disappointing.
