Paul Mescal’s character wasn’t depressed and lonely enough so I couldn’t relate to him. In all seriousness he was really good. What this movie lacks in originality it makes up for in amazing action sequences and really fun performances. Pedro Pascal was very good and the movies production design was nothing short of epic. It felt like the Gladiator equivalent to the force awakens and it doesn’t have the emotional impact of the original but I still believe it to be a worthy successor.
