Very mixed bag. Paul Rudd and Jonathan Majors carry the film. Kang really had a menacing presence and I love the way they built him up before introducing him. His design is awesome and his dialogue was mostly good although there were a few generic villain lines thrown in for good measure.
The cgi is very up and down, some times you'll have pretty good looking landscape shots then MODOK will show up and look like the guy from Spy Kids from the 2000's. Cassie wasn't written the best, Kathryn Newton gave a fine performance but the character was given no development.
The trailers for this ruined the movie on multiple levels. Firstly it completely ruined the ending and then it gives you a better plot for the movie that is nowhere to be seen in the movie about Kang offering him more time with Cassie. I seem to be the only one who didn't find the holes joke funny.
The after credits scene was goofy af, I hope they fix the look and feel of Kang's Citadel before The Kang Dynasty and the way this version went out was bad. He better come back and be the main Kang.
