You don't really expect much out of these late 2000s/early 2010s sci-fi or thriller movies that all have the same generic poster with the blue color scheme, but Source Code was surprisingly great. Not perfect, but great. The cast is fantastic, especially Gyllenhaal in the lead. The script is tight and exciting with a somewhat unique concept that takes some inspiration from Groundhog Day. It's quite riveting throughout, but has a surprisingly sweet message and a very satisfying conclusion. It gave me Non-Stop vibes, which is weirdly one of my favorite movies even though most people see it as mediocre, so any movie to give me that feeling is a good one in my book. Yeah, I really liked this and I'll definitely rewatch it at some point. I do wish it was a little bit longer though. 9/10
