“Long live the fighters.”

Just unbelievable spectacle. The fact that I’m seeing this kind of imagery on an IMAX screen is just unbelievable. Feel like some moments were cut short (this could’ve been 3 hours and it should’ve been that or longer) but I’m just absolutely blown away by the elevated cinematography and the themes at play. It kills me that even with part two this story still doesn’t quite feel fully over, but there aren’t many other blockbusters with this continued level of staggering world building and CINEMATOGRAPHY (this movie is absolutely gorgeous and the more prominent religious elements in this part two are conveyed beautifully). This is industry standard filmmaking. Really want more of this story (and I hope things get a proper end, unlike the novels apparently).
