Absolutely floored by this movie. It hits like a truck - largely thanks to the incredible sound design and its deft interrogations of race, power, and a host of other themes.

waiting to see this until after my finals were over made it all the more sweeter. incredible movie. what an experience. if there was ever a movie more deserving of the tag styling and profiling this is it
god i love film procedurals. couldn’t take my eyes off of this movie. political thrillers (especially ones based in fact and real life such as this one) will never fail to grab my attention, present political circumstances certainly playing a factor
Jeremy Strong robbed. Not sure how Sebastian Stan managed to have two banger releases in one year. This really nailed its settings and overall look too. I think this movie deserves more praise and attention than it received. I’m also interested in reading about the extent of its creative liberties. I hope this doesn’t get censored or banned.

More so than his last two films, you can see Kubrick’s style begin…
you know how people say things like “we are living through hard times” or “we have a rough ___ years ahead of us”. i see movies like this and think when was there ever any good times. this mindset is certainly tempered by the fact that im still young and seem to be living through a particular rough historical patch of time, but damn watching this movie was just a constant reminder of how virtually nothing has changed except how we consume media (and that got much worse).
Been hankering to watch the movie since I finished Red Dead Redemption 2. Still funny and exciting. Still beautiful and profound.
I know there’s no crying in baseball, but I’m still gonna cry in this movie. Currently my favorite Tom Hanks performance.
just short of a full 10 for me personally. this shit was incredible. i wish i got to see more movies where al pacino and robert de niro get to act alongside each other directly, i was so happy in the scene where they had their conversation face to face. i don’t know why i didn’t realize so many crime games based much of their aesthetic off of this movie alone but it became so clear after watching it. michael…
