Well, no

Not as good as the first but still great. The pacing felt off but I’m going to track that down to my current health situation, not the movie itself.
could have been a pretty alright play with the same cast but instead it was a waste of a movie. extra half star for the cast, it’s four heavy hitters doing their best with what they were given. I miss Succession.
almost a 4 for me. just plain heart breaking stuff all around.
I hope that when the world comes to an end, I can breathe a sigh of relief, because there will be so much to look forward to.
yeah it’s a no from me big dawg
not only was this all shock no value (i stole that from an article title) but the cinematography was dogshit the entire time. let me zoom out, actually felt suffocating to watch. And trust me, i love when a horror movie is close and personal, but you have to do it right (Trap) and they weren't even close to hitting that mark. every single scene is about 3 feet away from who…
this is a movie i wouldn't typically go for. i did find it a bit boring; there’s lots of feelings of ennui. the middle was lovely, and full of joy. it’s interesting seeing the male gaze coming through coppola’s direction.
the academy remains one of my favorite ways to see movies that i both know very little about, and have very little interest in. the intros and conversations are truly fascinating and help to add a certain depth to the experience. the conversation with sofia coppola and kirsten dunst post movie was very cool to witness.
Jacob had always hyoed this up. Definitely a movie for this time.
