It's a one minute long silent film, so there's not a whole lot to it, but I found it interesting due to the quality of the print and the fact that it was directed by a woman. The dress and set design seem pretty elaborate for how brief it is as well.

For a 125-year old short it has more narrative structure and better effects that some modern films.

Godzilla said trans rights in a succinct, heartfelt, and poignant fashion. We have lived in a scary world, are living in a scary world, and will continue to live in a scary world, but there are pockets of comion and humanity that give us reason to keep going. Sometimes those pockets are captured in kaiju familial love. I think that's beautiful.
