I've always really enjoyed this movie, I'd actually go as far to say it's one of my favourites from both Spielberg & Cruise. 36 years on.. and it's still a god damn staple of cinema. A film that ages like the finest of wines. You can watch this as a 10yr old and get something out of it(just stick the tv cut on), aswell as watching it as an adult and noticing all the satirical elements to it. Weather your talking about one of the greatest villains of all time in "Clarence Boddicker", or the amazing score by Basil Poledouris, the movie has it all.. and then some.
