What in the world was this movie 💔
I mean I LOVED the idea of both the story and character/killer here but I think it was carried out wrongly in some ways and a bunch of things were definitely NOT necessary. Like out of all things did we really have to be like "it's our kink!", no, we didn't. It could've been a regular even just "killing people together is fun!" "WERE the only couple right for eachother!" Or even have it 1 person and "I hate valentines cuz____!"
Loved the idea, think it played out bad. It's definitely down there behind companion for worst 'love-related' horror films though.
The actors seemed really good though and I think they 100% did their job at least.
Wish it could've been better, especially cuz really liked the design of our killer here, but oh well.

I don't care what no one says I love this version way more. 🧍‍♂️
And ngl, half the comments, I have NO idea what they're talking about with the bad script, bad acting, like huh????
But whatever, everyone has their own views I guess...
And as someone who is a huge fan of Stephen King, and lives in Colorado + has been to the Stanley, it helps love this version more. I think Stephen King did an amazing job, I appreciate how this one actually portrays the characters correctly and follows the story more right than Kubrik ever made it. The only thing I like about Kubriks is the actors and some small aspects, otherwise. Eh. Kings? Way better. Good cast, good and following script + characters, actual shown growth and or change. MORE CHARACTERS. Like I'm very glad Watson is ACTUALLY here this time.
I know I'm not alone one this, some people I met on the tour at the Stanley were 100% also fans.

I like and appreciate movies that can, yeah, be funny and romantic, BUT also have so much realism to it. The feelings and emotions. The SITUATIONS. Theyre all so real and I LOOOVE that.

A real review this time!!

Honestly I thought it was gonna be good but it was WAY BETTER. I have never seen a movie like this and I really feel like that means something. It's a mix of funny, some realistic situations like being a "loser" for being creative and smart, or wanting to be liked and cool so bad even though you just need to be yourself, etc. I know it's not too realistic to the game itself considering some new things were added and some things weren't accurate but Minecraft is ABOUT creating. That was the point of this movie, it's not "inaccurate" just because, it's "inaccurate" because JACK BLACK CREATED!!! I honestly wish people saw more into movies than just "a stupid movie with stupid jokes", like if you're gonna watch it to at least see if you like it, TRY TO LOOK AT THE REAL POINT OF THE MOVIE.

Sincerely, I would rewatch this movie a million times, and A+ cast!!!!!! Love the cameos <3

Dear Evan Hansan was one of my first introductions to musical theater alongside Hamilton and Heather's and I enjoyed it so much at first as just a musical but never payed too much attention to the story as I should've since I was young and I didn't know and understand my emotion that connected with the emotions of this musical and not having known what those emotions had meant yet since I was younger.
I recently decided to rewatch the movie, and will soon be rewatching the Broadway performance. BUT, rewatching this movie after not having done so in a while meant SO MUCH. I started off excited and ended sobbing because I forgot how meaningful this movie could be. Now that im older and understand the feelings this movie shares and I've been through it all and I've had thoughts before/currently do struggle with it still. Not only did I finish the movie in tears, but it honestly did make me reflect back on the urges, I feel like I can watch this film anytime I want to do the same. It helps more than I thought it would.
Despite all of that, as a musical itself, I really love it and thing the songs are amazing. Though I do prefer more of the Broadway cast, the different cast in this did amazing as well! I know this one isn't everyone's cup of tea movie wise cuz of how "Ben Platt looks too old" or as a musical itself, but for me personally, this is what helped me figure stuff out from when I was young to now.

If you're gonna sit there and complain how "stupid" the movie is and how "bad" the jokes are in gonna have to remind you this is a KIDS MOVIE. The jokes are funny to THE KIDS. If you enjoy the jokes as a teen or adult, great!! I'm glad you enjoy this humour! But if you don't then REALIZE THE JOKES ARE ORIGINALLY MEANT FOR THE GENERAL AUDIENCE OF YOUNG CHILDREN. Yes, movies are made for EVERYONE AND ANYONE, but the jokes were written for THE KIDS. Open your eyes and be sensible when you're watching a film that's made for a younger audience, if you didn't like the jokes then obviously the movie wasn't for you. That doesn't make the movie the worst movie of the year just because your humor is different than others. Do better!! 🫶

I JUST SAW THIS MOVIE AND I LOVE IT. Jack seems like SUCH an amazing actor and he really pulled off this role well!!!! The Movie itself was funny, action filled, and GREAT!!! I kinda wished it was a little funnier but no complaints!! ALSO LOVE RAY NICHOLSON SO HEYYY!!!
10/10 would watch again.

I for real thought this movie was gonna be hella boring but NOPE. It actually entertained me a lot but EUGH was i like📈📉📈📉📈📉during the whole end/tight rope scene. VERY AMAZING AND 'INSPIRING' FILM!! Oddly heartwarming though💔 amazing cast and characters !! 100% watching this again a few times

As a Ben Schwartz fan, it makes me so happy seeing how far he has come with this. Everytime he brings up how he forgets how BIG these projects actually are I get seriously emotional 😭
For the movie itself, yes it's true still, i did cry during 95% of this when I saw it the first time in theaters. UGH. SO MANY THINGS GOT ME DOWN RIGHT SOBBING. But, like?? That's what made this movie, the movie. I couldn't have asked for anything more than a perfect movie with the best cast to pull me out of my deep depression at the end of 2024 to make 2025 the best !!
Genuinely a huge thanks to everyone apart of this project for making it happen, and thanks to the fans aside from myself for allowing them to make it happen ?
I can't wait for Sonic 4 in 2027, 2027 is gonna be a good year!!
I love the references in here as well, small or big, obvious or not. LOVE THEM. It's odd to be like "a silly film about a blue hedgehog for kids changed my life!" But, hey, here I am. I don't think they could ever go wrong and I really don't care how many of these they make, this has to be the one movie franchise they can't ruin by making 50 (exaggeration) of.

I had NO idea how to feel after this movie. Like it was VERY heartbreaking(?) more than scary, I really wanted to cry at that part where he's "shaming" her husband for offing himself. The whole movie left me unnerved but not in a "I feel like I'm being watched" way but rather a very sad way. But, that makes this movie SO GOOD. The performances????? OH. MY. GOD. The ending made me so happy though considering he played the role so well I believed it too much. I 100% do and don't recommend this movie. Do because it's AMAZING. Don't cuz it's so heartbreaking.
100/10!!

This has to be in my top 5 thrillers. I love how it's not scary scary. And David Arquette is one of my favourite horror actors so I loved seeing him here!!
Im normally not all about horror films that are almost ALL in one place (this case, the hospital) but this one actually is pretty good. I love the subtle comedy, the personalities of each character.

I love Joe Keery both as an actor, but also a musician, an this role was just SO well played. The movie is fun, not really scary, and one I can rewatch over and over no problem. The performances in this are MWAH. And the story is oddly funny, where in reality you know if your Uber or Lyft (or taxi) was a Serial Killer, it wouldn't be so funny. I wish more people knew about this movie!!!!

THIS WAS WAY BETTER THAN I EXPECTED.
The changes in the characters from beginning to end was so WOAH. And the ending, wondering if she was gonna do it or not was honestly a bit serving knowing she probably will. This seems very.. original? And oddly very good for there technically only being 2 characters the whole time, or most of the time, on screen. We'll done!!!! Props to both actors.

I think the story and all is a bit corny but that's what makes it good, I guess?
Though i hate a lot of the "teenager" cast... they could've done better. At least teach them how to act first they were not so good. (Cough cough, Addison Rae.)
I liked a lot of the Adult cast though, and Milo is a familiar face I like!!
I really wish I could've liked this movie more considering the slasher is pretty cool and would make a nice cosplay/outfit. Was nice to see around Thanksgiving though!

Despite what people say, even if some are denying, there were bits in this where it was actually scary! I think they did an excellent job, Blumhouse never disappoints. Great cast as well??? Love them all but especially Matthew Lillard. Would and have watched this more than once. Can't wait for #2!!!

Love Stephen King, so was excited to see this one. I didn't carry put exactly how much I expected it too but was still really good. I love the characters/family, especially with the situation and how it tied in with the oldest daughter and her mom. ESPECIALLY towards the end of the film. It was honestly nice to see it end in not such a horror way, but rather a heartwarming family moment. I liked that it was kinda a reliever after all that had happened throughout the film. I would rewatch again 100%.

The whole movie felt like it was for nothing, basically no one really died until the end, and by that point it was only 2 people anyway. Not a lot of gore exactly, not a lot of killing, the demon possession was a little lame on this one too. There wasn't enough happening for it to be scary or exciting. Though besides all of that, I do appreciate and love the cast, just wish the movie was... more?

It was okay!!
I found it to be a bit of a slower process which made the story feel boring. There wasn't enough going on for it to feel like a real horror film but the first birth scene when she was spying on the girl who was giving birth was pretty ew. Anyway, don't have much to say about this one.

Blumhouse never fails at making/working with good films. There is a few downsides like it was a bit boring, but otherwise good.
I like the story, the characters felt the most boring.
I like the idea of childhood Imaginary friends wanting you to come back and stay forever so, as an urban legend, are able to become this figment of trauma coming back for you. I was like WOW. That would make a lot of sense if it was a realistic thing?? But for everything else about the movie... ehhh..? I'd probably not watch it again though.

This movie 100% carried out and did it's job the way it was meant to, maybe even exceeded it perfectly. I LOVE this one compared to the 1st way more. I would watch this one over and over again if it didn't mess with me so much. Naomi Scott's performance is OUTSTANDING. She pulled off the "pop-star" celebrity act very well, especially when it came to the mental problems of pressure due to fans/family. Louis didn't have much of a part in here but he also happened to be one of my top characters. The end though, probably from the point of the hospital to the actual end, was CRAAAZY. It was crazy to see how much it was messing with Skye and then just throws her out on the spot to her concert near the end where she then dies. I must say her death was a biiiit underwhelming for everything that happened though? Otherwise, this was in my top 3 for 2024 horror films.
P.S. the songs are actually really good too??? I always have them on repeat.

I hope the goal of this movie was to scare people shitless cuz that's exactly how it made me feel. I did watch it when I was only around 8, sure, but I definitely would never rewatch it again now. Meaning that more in a way as in it's scary ASF. And normally I'm okay with that and can deal with it okay, but just something about this movie man. I would consider rewatching it with someone else if they wanted me to in all reality, by myself, hell no. I love this movie regardless, I feel like it really did it's job. I hope the cast, crew , and director are strongly proud of themselves for this one.

I actually really love this movie but 4 stars for the fact it is a biiiit boring. Like it's okay to watch time to time with a good distance but not entertaining enough to be like month after month or week after week. Maybe like 6 months after 60 months or so. But, besides that, the movie itself I do love. I love Brahm's character throughout the whole thing, the ending broke me considering I watched this as a kid and loved him lots 😭. The story is interesting and definitely a kinda... different doll related thriller/horror film?

The story is very interesting and I love the balance of its horror/comedy. I went back and fowardth being on her husband's side (I forgot names) but in the end, was very happy he died. He deserved it in the end. I'm so SO glad she survived, honestly this movie gives a whole independent woman vibe I guess? Anyway, loved it a whole lot. Great cast!!

I know this was just a tester/starter film, so there's stars for that. More like pity stars, I guess. I do think it was very boring to the point I almost fell asleep during it. It felt slow as well, but it was a step into the world and I'm glad it did well enough to make more films as the 2nd is my favourite so far. The way they slowly just moved around this same building was like... wow.. okay! That was apart of it being boring. I'm pretty sure she had a part where she could've left the building but I barely most of it.

If I could rewatch a movie for the first time again, this would be on of my top options.
I love the character, but WOAH the ending? The way it's not only tricking "the characters", it's also playing a joke on you, the viewer as well. I was so shocked by the end, and that is the main reason I'd want to watch for the first time again. Yes, it was kinda poor horror/gore, but still nonetheless I do really like this movie. I do agree with some other people, it is kinda a movie that feels more right to watch on its date rather than whenever though.

Movie was pretty good, I'm in and out about how it was more funny over scary, but I think I mostly like it and think it makes sense? Especially for the characters and how they are. I love also how she slowly gets to realize what life really should be through this and how she can fix her personal life relationships like with her dad. I'm very happy with the end and the fact she got to get out of the cycle, the cycle having to do with the candle being blown out is very interesting. It's also very interesting seeing how many theories there were/she started having the more and more days that repeated as well. I can see how this may be a copy or similar to other films though.

I love the Candyman film series.
I love Tony Todd's performance, Rest In Piece to him, he has left a legacy with his work. For the movie itself, I love the story and it's meaning, this felt like a great film knowing it was more than a "scary" movie, but also a lesson in a way? These movies, even the most recent, feel so special. Candyman is definitely in my top 5, I could rewatch them over and over, and never get bored, nor lose the feeling of its true meaning. I'm glad this was something that wasn't ruined as it kept being continued.

I'm a huge Stephen King fan and The Shining is one of my FAVOURITE books. It having a film is great and all but... Stanley Kubrick maybe wasn't the best choice after all. I feel like he ruined a lot of it and outside of the movie was a horrible person, especially towards Shelley Duvall. I don't like how many things are wrong about this from the book like what things were changed. Like how it's 237 instead of 217. Why?? How Mr. Hallorann died. How it was an axe instead of the game 'hammer'. Etc. I also hate how some very important things weren't included, it made this film feel rushed and way too focused on like... Jack just a being a bad person. Which isn't exactly true. It made Jack Torrance seem like he was a mean bad guy from the start, when really, he is good and tries for Danny but the hotel posses Jack and makes him wanna hurt his family. Stanley didn't include a lot that he should've. Like what makes Danny, Danny. And make Wendy seem more than just some defensless, scared, screaming woman. BUT. I must say, I don't think there was a more perfect casting for the film. I really wish there could've been a different, better director and maybe just maybe, it would've been a better movie. 5 stars for the amazing cast and for the sake of The Shining, other wise I'd wanna give 1 star for the director.

Love this movie!!
Adam is 100% one of my favourite characters from here, besides Jigsaw himself. The story at times did feel a bit all over the place when it would switch back from the two and the family but that's probably just me and not liking when things feel a bit everywhere.
Otherwise, loved it, I think for a tester/starter film with a low budget this was very well made. The story is good and I do like the situation between Adam and Lawrence.

I LOVE AMERICAN PSYCHO!!
I read the book before I watched the film, and I actually love how they used a lot of Patrick Batemans dialog from the book. I like how many scenes they took from the book as well, but kinda wished they could've made it more accurate in some places that they seemed to change to a bit. Christian Bale was a perfect Patrick Bateman, I don't think anyone else could've rocked that role. Great cast, amazing actors. I do wish they would've shown they parts where Bateman wasn't exactly fully homophobic. In the book, he does happen to be curious about men, we'll say, but never indulges in acting upon anything. It's a small thing, but I eish it was shown in the film because everyone that hasn't read the book, thinks he's just some homophobic, women/sex-loving "murderer" from this. Or, as some other people would say, "sigma/alpha male", which is obviously hated on by Bale himself and the author. Either way, great film, if they re-create, I really hope they chose the right next Patrick Bateman.

This one felt really boring. I don't really like this one, especially after watching the 2nd. After seeing Smile 2 this went from a maybe 3 ½ star to a 2 star. I didn't even know or realize it felt like a copy of other films but now I can see it from some of the reviews that mentioned it. Actors performances aren't bad but the story and movie itself is eh. I do like how you don't really have to watch this movie to watch the second one though. Someone could easily sum this up for you and you could watch the 2nd no problem. I guess one thing they probably did right is the unnerving feeling it leaves you with after watching, especially after seeing the smile creature, that thing was gross asf and I couldn't stand looking at it for long.

This movie is WAY better than the first, which feels like an obvious thing considering Terrifer 1 was like a tester film on a low budget and gained enough traction to make a better 2nd film. I love this story of this one actually and I'm glad it didn't wanna make me fall asleep like the first one. I also love Sienna's character!!
And to be so honest, I never even realized until reading these reviews that it was 138 minutes long? It didn't feel that long. It felt like a normal length movie when I watched it. The expansion on the lore was great, it gave a reason to try and know who Art was even more. The ending scene with Victoria was like an OH! moment, but otherwise, I personally don't think this film was too bad.

I expected it to be better if I'm honest.
I love Nicholas Cages performance, as well as the main girl (not aware of the actors name, sorry). The type of character she played seems like a hard one to pull off, even though most people wouldn't think so. I like how much more of a scary character this was for Nicholas though, somewhat different and new from the stuff I've seen. But I love it!
It did bore me a bit and I did expect a LOT more to happen, but overall, it itself isn't too bad of a movie.

Not okay in a bad way, just more I wasn't sure if I liked it enough to watch again. It was on the edge of being more boring than entertaining to me, but nonetheless, a good film. The looks of them when "possessed" is pretty sick and i was actually pretty happy with the way it ended!
The characters were somewhat enjoyable as well, but I love the realism of some points in it.

This has to be one of my favourite Evil Dead's next to the og Evil Dead 2.
I love the scary elements it brings and the characters are played so well.
It's also nice how well it brings the creepy, gross, and somewhat like haha? moments at times. And the ENDING? Love it!!!

This is honestly one of my top Mia Goth performances, watching this moving is such a fun joyride and how people refer her as their "American Psycho", I can see that and I really live it considering that book/film is VERY relatable for me personally 😭
This is 100% a film I can watch over and over and not get bored of 🫶

I don't get what people are talking about with this movie being not... entertaining?
And also with the "who's the intended audience even?" stuff...??? Movies are made for anyone and everyone. The intended audience is whoever. It's not that hard to realize that.
Anyway! I loved this cast, they brought life to this movie. I actually love the fact it's an odd, "funny", not like the others kinda spin off. I love how it's focused on Renfeild instead of Dracula, Nicholas Hoult did a great job in this. The fake CGI Blood was meant to be not as real looking cuz this isn't a full blown horror, it's a comedy-thriller. It's not focused on that. And I'm also a huge Ben Schwartz fan so I LOVE him in this movie. It was a bit new for him to play a villian but he played it well. All the actors did very well and I personally find this movie very funny and great! I also love the soundtrack, the My Chemical Romance near the end made me ecstatic.

I love how it's a film with Ben Schwartz I can finally watch with family/younger siblings!! Its funny, love the super hero aspect, and the behind story with becoming a family again is very amazing.
It's a good watch everyone once in a while or if I need a cheer me up kinda movie. I also love the joke with the Ducktales (2019) cast??? Was so unexpected but was very nice to see more familiar faces!!!
AND JEEZ IS THIS LINE ONE THAT HITS KINDA HARD. ITS MORE REALISTIC THAN I FIRST THOUGHT.

In my honest opinion this movie is amazing. I watched it at least close 20 times within the first 2 weeks of finding it. I LOVE this movie. The story, for me, is honestly so heart warming and wonderful. A son finds someone who feels like the dad he "doesn't have" and a dad finds the son he feels like he "doesn't have" and they help eachother to be better people. I love the story, the characters, and the moral. I'm also a HUGE Ben Schwartz fan and this was a very well played lead role for him, I would LOVE to see him more for lead roles. I feel like so many people are missing out on this film, it's definitely one of my top movies! 🫶🫶🫶🫶

The fact this was another film where 2 different actors did get to play two different characters is SO impressive and awesome. The horror aspect? 10/10. The
comedy aspect? 8/10. And the gore is very well done. But overall A VERY GOOD 2025 FILM. 10/10 cast. Also a huge fan of Stephen King so !!
I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone.
