also, when did ryan gosling get that… big

relationships are scary because what do you mean you sniffed another person’s armpits and watched them pee, but you say it’s technically not cheating. and then you finally break up with me after thinking of the person whose armpits you more or less facefucked. and then when i get cancer, you finally say it to my face that you already knew the person you left me for before we broke up while i’m nearing my deathbed. and!!!! you were pregnant with his child after making me wait years for you to tell me you never wanted children
i rebuke this kind of love finding me, and i hope to god i never act like that woman.
]]>i would have fallen into norman’s trap tbh

really interesting standpoints from a sociological perspective
just really sad that their kids came out ginger tho
]]>still just as great as acting + this theater had heated seats. amazing
ps- there is a penny on my bathroom floor that i’ve dropped since the day i first moved into this apartment… it is going to stay there for the foreseeable future

i would have known price charming wasn’t actually my husband based on just the fact that he’s a blond. can’t do it
best movie in the franchise, btw
]]>like if i should dress as human fiona for halloween, comment if i should do it as ogre fiona 😸

]]>this is my first time ever seeing a mission impossible movie, and i really hope his haircut isn’t as bad in the other ones as it is in this.
]]>really interesting depiction based on the book
great movie, and i feel as if it did a good job portraying jesus as still human with urges and feelings of conflict
]]>oh damn
]]>watching this while i’m currently reading animal farm is like :0
(i really hope it has an ending like this, but if it’s anything like 1984…)
]]>This review may contain spoilers.
does an insanely good job subliminally showing such a stark difference in “typical socioeconomic status” among engers by using different cabins to show the gradual increase in affluence and then indoctrination on youth with a bizarre propaganda-esque storyline.
also goes into themes of selling-out when an opportunity arises. especially seen with that woman at the beginning only demanding the fighting stops when it finally came time for her life to end.
also only realized halfway through the film that that was chris evans #whoops
]]>as someone who has a college degree in social science, i can confidently say “what the fuck?”
]]>better watch the second time + THERE WERE END CREDITS?!
love atl theaters for actually keeping the lights dim until they were over 😸😸
]]>watching this before going to climb a 2000’ mountain next week was a fine idea… right?
]]>celebrating halloween early my putting on my favorite horror movie 😺
]]>sure, this film does an ok job showing the highs and lows of needing desperate mental help, but it’s so… obtuse. i can understand the “sex scene” in there was meant to show that susanna is still a person with needs, but it just seemed so tacky.
and, if i understood the plot correctly, a woman who tries to kill herself and is actively getting help should not be in the institution for a year straight. that is a piss poor reflection on the institution itself. pushes the crazy girl narrative
whatever
]]>i’m so glad i don’t smoke weed anymore because this would have sent me into a psychosis
]]>this is easily one of the best biopics i have ever seen, but i have some thoughts and opinions about the whole ordeal.
]]>great job, darren aronofsky. you managed to make tchaikovsky’s swan lake more horny, terrifying, and full of desire than i had already interpreted it to be. 👍👍
]]>gonna be the outlier among my friends with this rating.
i think it was really well shot and acted out, but it was so so slow, especially at the beginning.
i’ll probably rewatch this and part one again with people that don’t stay on their phones for the entirety of the movie so i can ask what they think
]]>oh damn. forgot how sentimental this film is.

]]>so could i technically log this on my goodreads?
]]>sure, i’m glad they reconciled, but using sex to fix an underlying issue is grossly perverse.
celine was acting irrationally in some parts, but jesse also wasn’t recognizing some signs it appears until it was too late.
this type of movie helps reinforces the idea that your partner can’t read your mind, and you should convey your feelings properly 🤷♀️
]]>holy fucking shit
