Wow. Just wow. Going into this movie, the critics were calling it "one of the greatest sci-fi movies of all time". I didn't want to get my hopes up in case they were wrong, but they absolutely were not.
Absolutely amazing performances from all the actors. I've never really been an Austin Butler fan myself, but man he really blew this one out of the water. There were a few times where I couldn't even tell he was acting it was that good. Of course, a much deserved shoutout to the performances from Timothee Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, and all the other incredible actors that were in this film.
The cinematography and scenery. Oh my gosh. The entire film my mind was just blown on how truly spectacular the visual effects were. Probably some of the best I've ever seen.
Even the score was incredible too.
Watching this in IMAX on release weekend is an experience I'll never forget. This absolutely blew me out of the water. This film is bound to go down in history as one of the greatest sci-fi film, if not of the greatest films, of all time.
