This Puppet Master reboot sets up a bunch of characters that are interesting enough that you might consider watching a film about them in which they didn't get killed by Nazi puppets. That's really an accomplishment for a movie like this. Jenny Pellicer, Thomas Lennon and Nelson Franklin are all great, the puppetry and other special effects are impressive, and the Fabio Frizzi score is unsurprisingly fantastic.
