from a film making standpoint this is really good, the way it brings you into this family's life and home, makes you feel for them, it creates a sense of closeness, and loss, that is emotionally powerful. there's a lot of talk about torres' performance which is phenomenal, but not enough has been said about how wonderful the kids are in this especially the two eldest. despite this i left feeling pretty frustrated with the film as a whole, and…
