The opening 17 minutes with the highway log truck—off the top of my head—is the best horror setpiece of the 2000s. I just love the concept of your slasher villain being death as near inevitability and invisibility that only one person can sniff from their premonition.

Also once again… seriously! Play Laura Palmer’s Theme over the dialogue scenes or pre-kill setpiece montages and these movies become 3 times better.

Honestly a blast, Cruise at his most handsome and like the only time he shows he is capable of having sex—eh that might be wrong cuz with Gina Gershon he kinda just flops around trying to bite her.
