Actually didn't expect some of the twists in the movie. Satoshi kon's debut film is a nuanced film about mima who quits being a pop idol to become an actress. The film tackles themes of fame, voyeurism and mental fragmentation in a bold and tackling way.Perfect blue is a tense and terrifying exploration of the psyche that proves animation can be just as psychologically rich as live action cinema.
I could probably watch this movie a hundred times and still find something new and not get bored.

Happiness is in the small moments.You won't expect to it but when you are on your death bed,these small things are what make life interesting.
I was constantly thinking callum would die and I didn't expect the ending at all.
This movie connected to me on a different level that I can't explain with words.Maybe this is what 'Cinema' really is.
Simply one of the best films I have ever watched.
