this is what a holiday film should be, no glossy capitalist marketing, no instagram models falling in love with a has-been film star…just this!!! depressive characters trying to make the most of a bad situation and finding friendship even then. what a film.

the cameos in this movie were wild. like every five minutes someone new popped up and i was just sitting there like… wait, they’re in this too?? this whole movie was an experience—one of those where you’re not really sure what’s happening but you’re fully locked in anyway. the plot was super intriguing…

i’ll give it that miles teller looks like a whole goddamn meal and lewis was adorable (powell’s character was insufferable)
