It is a long movie, perhaps too long. However I quite like long movies (2001, Apocalypse Now).
They fit a lot into the time but it sometimes feels like they’re trying to do too much.
The acting is good all round and the universe is well imagined. Even Batista puts in a half decent performance.
It is a visual feast and Zendaya I think is the shining star amongst other good performances.
It’s one of those movie franchises that if you like the first then there’s an obligation to follow the rest.
I’m looking forward to seeing the third instalment- btw it needs watching in cinemas, obvs!
