slowly becoming the insufferable film bro i used to detest 💗

2024
loved the slow burn and longing of the first 45 mins, including a beautifully touching intimate scene, and it’s aesthetically beautiful and intriguing, but really went off the deep end by the third act. I was here for the some of the artsy imaginative symbolism in the first half, but was grasping at straws to make the connections by the end. Felt a bit gratuitous. Daniel Craig gives an incredibly beautiful, vulnerable performance.
