Life's not fair but you either run from your past or learn from it. This movie has everything: action, comedy, tragedy, triumph and a banging sound track taboot.  My only real issue with the film is that a lion surviving off only grubs in subsaharan Africa would be violently malnourished.

This movie has it all: action, comedy, Robert Downey Jr. in blackface.  We get Matthew McConaughey and Tom Cruise’s at their best with Les Grosman possibly be Tom’s greatest character to date.  His dance during the credit roll is not just iconic but cultural important.

What an intense experience.  This film shot nearly all in real time depicts actual events during the Iraq war.  I was absolutely glued to the screen which at times was tough to look at.  Although it leans pro-American it also shows the destruction caused by both sides and felt very apolitical to me.  My only real complaint was that at a 95 minute run time I found myself wanting more and would have watched for another 95 minutes.  The credit…

This is a fun comedy (horror?) flick that ultimately falls a little short.  I’m not the biggest Paul Rudd guy and I felt his jokes feel a little flat.  Will Poulter is the real star of this one for me remaining consistently funny throughout. Regardless I still definitely enjoyed the film and my time watching it even if it may not be winning any awards.
