It’s been at least 7-8 years since I’ve seen the matrix movies so I went in pretty naked on this one. However, I had a pretty good time with this considering it’s general “meh” reviews. I enjoyed seeing Neo and Trinity back as well as other returning characters and it all works pretty well for me.

second time around with dune kinda felt slow and boring but to me, Dune is one of those watch once movies and maybe re-watch every couple years but for some reason i didn't really enjoy the second time. still a great movie tho

Was gonna see it in 4DX but that got canceled and I had to see it in the regular standard screening but regardless it was one of the best movies I’ve seen in the past couple years. I’ve read like half the book and still loved every second of this movie.
Don’t expect alot of action but the world building and characters themselves are engaging enough but it may not be for everyone.

i always love steven sodenburg so seeing this pop up on hbo max was an automatic watch. i love the style, characters and unpredictability of it all. each character is as interesting as the next and it all works perfectly together.

it’s everything you expect it be and more. the human drama is okay at best but the real picture is with the fights.
the fight scenes look and feel incredible and give you a great sense of how big these guys are. each punch lands and will make the casual movie goer happy.
