Not perfect but far better than a lot of DC’s recent attempts. Had some very formulaic moments but still kept me engaged enough to see it thru. Also really liked what they did with Carapax and his arc at the end.
Overall just really loved this one even if it’s not a 10/10
Hopefully Xolo Maridueña gets another shot at Blue Beetle in a future DC project

I absolutely adore this movie and this has to be my favorite of the year. its the most fun I've had at the movies and its cast and characters are all so lovable and fun that its hard to not like this movie. While its not for the lighthearted, it still brings something for everyone.
Rick Flag was my favorite from the 2016 movie and it killed me watching him die. also captain boomerang's just stuck and hurt.

I’ve never been that into the DC animated movie but this movie caught my eye after I saw some clips where a lot of the DC superhero’s were being brutally killed.
Going in on that alone, my expectations were fair. This seemed kinda like the End Game for the dc animated universe and apparently, it’s the end of it all too but correct me if I’m wrong.

Shazam was a definite hit or miss.
Even tho that DC has been on a hit lately with the likes of Wonder Woman and Aquaman, Shazam could've been utter garbage but it was instead, one of the best superhero movies to date.
