so much better than the 2017 cut. adds huge amounts of depth and character to each hero and makes them feel incredible together.

“A truce, Bruce. As long as you have this card, a truce. But all you have to do is tear it in half and I'm happy to discuss with you in any way you like, why you sent the Boy Wonder to do a man's job?”

Cherry

this had the potential to be a huge movie for Tom Holland but sadly, this is not it and only further proof that he should stay as Spider-man. with Cherry being overlong, unintentionally hilarious and very poorly edited, it’s just a shit show from the start. it has its moments here and there but it’s a mess and a sad one at that. i appreciate what they tried to do but in all honesty it just fell flat.

i meant to log weekly but i lost track of it but here’s my full series review.

i really enjoyed the show from start to finish but when the show left it’s creative sit com vibe for your basic marvel action with a cliche marvel villain, that’s when the series went stale. When it started it had its own style and felt fresh and unique but by the end it felt like a normal marvel movie. I think it greatly…

It’s fun but somewhat disappointing. nicholas cage is great and the animatronics are creepy but the good ends there.

a pretentious movie about a argument that gets worse and worse as it goes on. In the end you get a phenomenally acted slow burn that tries a bit too hard to make you care.

watch for zendaya’s acting alone.

With Warner Brother’s first 2021 debut movie, I was expecting a lot. the trailer was great and got me wanting to see it. sadly, the end result is mundane and a bit overly familiar.

don’t get me wrong the performances are great and Malek is the standout but it’s not enough to redeem the movie. On a side note, this movie has some terrible editing. each scene feels like it has way too many cuts and at a point, it…

a tragically beautiful movie that depicts two emotional people who want different things and in turn, destroy each other.

I loved this movie I wish i watched it sooner.

“I don't know. I feel like I should just stop... You know, just stop thinking about it, but I can't. Maybe I've seen too many movies, you know, love at first sight. What do you think about love at first sight? You think you could love somebody by just looking at them? But the thing is, man, I felt like I knew her”

I don’t know what to say about this movie. I went in with small expectations and still came out disappointed. It’s a fun movie but it’s corniness and bad writing just really bring it down for me. it’s a laughable movie that is very for kids and nothing for adults. it’s filled to the brim with bad jokes, poor writing, and tons of shitty cliches and CGI.

I feel like I can’t be too harsh on this because it’s not…

Sound of Metal

a profound and fascinating look into accepting your problems and realizing handicaps aren’t impairments. It’s incredibly acted throughout and Riz Ahmed brought more pain and emotion to the table than anything else this year. it may be a slow burn but it’s near-perfect with its direction and script and it's acting only further cements how great this movie is.

“Ruben. As you know, everybody here shares in the belief that being deaf is not a handicap. Not something to fix. It's pretty important around here. All these kids... all of us, need to be reminded of it every day”
