this had the potential to be a huge movie for Tom Holland but sadly, this is not it and only further proof that he should stay as Spider-man. with Cherry being overlong, unintentionally hilarious and very poorly edited, it’s just a shit show from the start. it has its moments here and there but it’s a mess and a sad one at that. i appreciate what they tried to do but in all honesty it just fell flat.

a profound and fascinating look into accepting your problems and realizing handicaps aren’t impairments. It’s incredibly acted throughout and Riz Ahmed brought more pain and emotion to the table than anything else this year. it may be a slow burn but it’s near-perfect with its direction and script and it's acting only further cements how great this movie is.
