it’s everything you expect it be and more. the human drama is okay at best but the real picture is with the fights. 

the fight scenes look and feel incredible and give you a great sense of how big these guys are. each punch lands and will make the casual movie goer happy. 
the cgi is stunning and so is the cinematography and use of colors. 

seeing godzilla pin down kong and both of them roar made my 10 year old self blow up with excitement. 

while it’s not perfect, it’s a great time at the cinema or on your couch.
