“Power Over Spice Is Power Over All”

This is the easiest 5 stars of my life...

If I'm being honest, this might be the greatest movie I've ever seen in my life. Yes, I really mean that.

I can't really put all of this into words. I was completely immersed into this story and this world, I hate that I have to go back to my normal life now. I promised myself after watching the first movie that I would read the book and know everything about it by the time the second movie came out. I only read like 110 pages of the book. But since then, I now know so much about this universe and the story of these books. I was so excited to see how the rest of the first book was going to be translated onto the screen, and I am beyond satisfied. This might also be my favorite theater experience as well. It was simply amazing, I enjoyed this so much.

If I'm gonna talk about at least one scene in this movie, it would have to be Feyd-Rautha's introduction scene. It might be one of the coolest movie scenes I've ever seen in my life. It's his birthday celebration, and he goes out into an arena to fight the last remaining Atreides soldiers, he just has a marvelous introduction and everyone's just chanting his name. The scene is also entirely in black and white because of the planet's black sun. (I just felt my dopamine levels spike the first time I heard the Harkonnen announcer say his name like that) That was probably my favorite scene in the whole movie.

This movie is practically perfect, I don't know what to say. I simply can not write an in depth review for this film.
