Sienna D’s review published on Letterboxd:
I really wanted to like this film more than I did. It isn't bad or anything but it just isn't great and that's a shame considering the material, director and actors. Craving brilliance and receiving something oozing mediocrity and disappointment.
The pace is, thankfully, frantic and there are good performances from all of the actors, particularly Gyllenhaal, and the chemistry between him and Michelle Monaghan is fine. Logic is thrown out of the window but that doesn't really matter as it is mostly entertaining and stimulating.
It was a great way to spend 90 minutes but I don't think that I will be revisiting it anytime soon.
