Sanjeet Singh’s review published on Letterboxd:
Gorgeously magnificent. Villeneuve, has embraced blockbuster cinema in all its glory, despite existing source material, he completely owns the story, the film, the world. The film's dynamics aren't derived by any preconceived notions, rather intuition and a certain conviction in perspective to even the politics of the film. Besides that, the worm sequences felt like a roller coaster ride, there seems to be a genuine attempt to put the viewers in a space so close and intimate with the film. It successfully manages to deceive the audience into believing the fictional reality, when cinema as a medium itself becomes interactive with the viewer, physically and emotionally.
